Diploma
Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm)
Course Overview:
Course Duration: Two (2) years
Admission Eligibility:
A pass in any of the following examinations with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Mathematics.
1. Pre-University College (P.U.C) in science with biology;
2. The first year of the three-year degree course in Science,
3. 10+2 examination (academic stream) in Science;
4. Pre-degree examination;
5. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
Degree
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
Course Overview:
Course Duration: Eight semesters (four academic years) and six semesters (three academic years) for lateral entry students
Admission Eligibility:
1. First year B. Pharm: Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the PharmacyCouncil of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
2. B. Pharm lateral entry (to third semester):
A pass in D. Pharm. course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
Masters
Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm)
Course Outline:
Course Duration: Two (2) years (4 semesters)
Admission Eligibility:
1. Pass in B.Pharm from a university recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), with a minimum of 55 % aggregate marks or equivalent
2. Candidate should have obtained registration with the State Pharmacy Council or should obtain the same within one month from the date of admission
